Traditional publishers take on all the financial risk — which is why they accept fewer than 1% of submissions and control everything from your cover to your pub date. Self-publishing puts all of that risk on you, along with all of the work.
Indigo River sits between those two worlds intentionally. We are a hybrid publisher. Authors we select co-invest in production alongside us — and in return receive what neither path fully offers: a professional team with real skin in the game, and an author who keeps control of their work.
