A Soldier’s Pride

Only a couple weeks into his stay in Iraq, Maurice Prince, Blackhawk pilot and M.D., celebrates his 41st birthday a world away from the states. Being separated from his fiancée is hard enough, but between the relentless Iraqi heat, a soldier with a suspicious back injury, and the constant sounds of mortars exploding nearby, Prince is left questioning his resolve, and wondering—how much is he really willing to sacrifice for his country?
